Shopko, a regional retailer competing with Kohl's, K-Mart and Target, updated their brand and needed a new website to match. When Atomic Playpen was first engaged, ShopKo did not have an eCommerce site or strategy. Atomic Playpen partnered with ShopKo to create a multi-phase plan to help them enter the eCommerce arena. The phase 1 redesign included content management to enable ShopKo to easily post the hundreds of products appearing in their circular to the website each week. The templated design was also scalable to enable ShopKo to easily add eCommerce functionality when the time was right. Today, ShopKo has thousands of products available for purchase online. Atomic Playpen has also provided advertising support which includes an offline print campaign, a new line of gift cards, and various promotional materials.
