Creating an in-store experience online.
3M is a $26 billion dollar global company with over 79,000 employees and over 55,000 products. 3M Littmann invited Atomic Playpen to help them introduce a stethoscope so technologically advanced that it will redefine stethoscopes as we know them. The new 3100 and 3200 Littmann stethoscope is able to digitally record an individuals heartbeat while the doctor is listening. The doctor can then download the audio file and run diagnostic tests to identify irregularities. The audio file can also be attached to the patients medical records for future retrieval.
3M Littmann wanted Atomic Playpen to create an interactive online product experience that came as close as possible to actually having the product in the user's hands. In response, Atomic Playpen created a Flash website with an interactive 3D experience so users could rotate the product and interact with the interface on the stethoscope. Atomic Playpen also created various product illustrations and animations within the website to help describe the numerous innovative features and benefits of the new stethoscope. Atomic Playpen digital agency services included: Strategy, Information Architecture, Copywriting & Content Management (Assisted Client in implementation of site on EWCD/Websphere), Design, 3D Animation, and Flash Development.
