Last fall, AP hired a fresh-faced, young designer/illustrator named Bryan Ische. And recently, he’s been getting a lot of recognition. One of the designs Bryan submitted to Threadless, a community-based tee shirt company with an on-going, open call for design submissions, was chosen to be used on Dell laptops. FUN! Even more fun: wearing the t-shirt while using the laptop!
Here’s what Bryan had to say about the design:
“I was playing with some acrylic paint some time ago. I went back into it and drew a flower (notice the near-OCD level of small circles in the center). I thought it'd make a neat shirt, and I suppose enough people agreed with me to get it voted on.”
Ahh, that Bryan, what a guy!
